Message I have upgraded turbos (Greddy TD05-18gs) and the fitting coming off of the oil filter tree that sends oil to the oil cooler is interfering with the compressor housing on the turbo by about 2mm. I orginally ghetto rigged the fitting by bending it but I've been leaking a small amount of oil there since the fix. Today I decided to fix it completely with a banjo fitting I bought but even after grinding the top of the banjo bolt I cannot get it to clear the compressor housing. I've thought of two ways to remedy this problem:

1) mill the port 2mm lower where the fitting connects
2) heat up the "log" with a torch that the port is on, on the oil filter tree and try to bend it slightly away from the housing.

Potential problems with these ideas- the oil filter tree would be a PITA to rig up in a mill and make sure it is orthogonal to the threads. If its not perfect, I'm pretty sure the banjo fitting won't seal. For #2, I'm not sure how this thing will bend being aluminum and all. I just want to get the car back together and will most likely be trying these ideas tomorrow morning. I will then have to put everything up and study for a couple finals so I can graduate. If anyone has any experience with this problem or has the same turbo kit I have please advise. As always, thanks for any help or suggestions.
